Probably the only school subject Calvin would ever enjoy. They often fill his daydreams as he rides a dinosaur out of school, or they trample through his neighborhood. Many of Calvin's drawings are filled with dinosaurs. The reasons he enjoys museums -- natural history museums only.

Watterson did not draw dinosaurs for a little while after the movie Jurassic Park came out because he did not want the strip to seem less real than the Hollywood special effects.
